Mindset of a Modern Australian Entrepreneur Networking Event
On Thursday September 6th 2018, C2 Angels and Infinity Coaching hosted ‘Mindset of a Modern Australian Entrepreneur’ networking event with keynote speakers; Charles Wong and Tima Elhaji, who presented their inspirational stories and learnings to eager entrepreneurial millennials.Starting your own business can be challenging. That’s why networking with like-minded people who inspire and push you outside your comfort zone proves invaluable. This networking opportunity was catered for the aspiring ‘millennipreneur’ - young professionals sick of the rat race, eager to bring their ideas to the market.
This event uncovered real and inspiring stories direct from the Founders themselves. From humble beginnings to critical turning points and the journey to entrepreneurship, attendees were able to extract useful tips and insights into how these two founders turned their ideas to a commercially viable service. Afterwards, the audience was presented with opportunities to pose questions to the panel via an interactive online Q&A platform.

As Managing Director of Think Pay, Charles has 17 years of banking experience across various industries, with specialisation in working capital and transaction banking. Charles previously worked in Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong and held positions with global mandates with diverse experiences ranging from leading customer & product engagement teams, risk syndications and implementing global platforms. Charles holds qualifications in Bachelors of Engineering (Hons), Commerce from The University of Melbourne and Masters of Applied Finance (FINSIA).
Having built small businesses herself, Tima discusses transitioning from financial advisor to fashion label. Tima's versatility has enabled her to deliver on both the business front and lifestyle genres. Her vision to help others truly unleash their potential, inspired Tima to communicate this message not only on stage but also via her Podcast "the Tima Show". Tima has been recognised as an 'Inspirational woman in Business’ and was interviewed on Channel 31 and Foxtel.
